My name is Sara. I work as machine learning developer at Altaml company.
I did my PhD in the Multimedia Research Center (MRC), advised by Prof.Anup Basu and Prof.Irene Cheng at the department of Computer Science, University of Alberta. My PHD research interest was developing new algorithms for early diagnosis and progress monitoring for Parkinson's Disease (PD) using different healthcare data such as gait, clinical information, and neuroimaging. For my PhD, I was working on analysis of single and multiple view of medical imaging modalities like MRI, DTI, PET, SPECT and fMRI by using different medical packages like FSL, Free surfer and SPM/CAT and using different machine learning and deep learning techniques. I used different data sampling and augmentation techniques such as the Reinforcement Learning based strategy for tacking the imbalance and not enough data problem. In my PhD, I was doing research on Parkinson's Disease assessment using multi modal data from neuro imaging to human motion analysis and demographic clinical characteristics, along with distributed learning algorithms for diagnosis and monitoring movement disorders.
I received my Master of Artificial Intelligence (AI) from Shriaz University, Iran. I was research associate in Artificial Intelligent (AI) field at the Shiraz University which my thesis was detection and localization of lung cancer nodules in CT images.
I received my Bachelor of Information Technology (IT) from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran. I was researcher at the APA-IUT Institute, Isfahan University of Technology at the end of my bachelor degree.
I skilled machine learning engineer and data scientist with more than six years industrial and academic experience and achieve excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills, highly motivated to work independently or as a part of a team within a dynamic environment.
